Kabab Erbil has two branches. The Deira branch is at 10 Al Muraqqabat Street, Deira, Dubai (near Union Metro Station). The Sharjah branch is at Al Taawun Street, Al Khalidiya, Sharjah (near Al Majaz Waterfront). Both serve the full Iraqi menu.

How long has Kabab Erbil been open in Dubai?

Kabab Erbil was founded in 2003 by Mr. Azad Omar and has served authentic Iraqi and Kurdish cuisine in Dubai for over 20 years — one of the city's longest-established Iraqi restaurants.

Is the meat halal?

Yes. All food at Kabab Erbil is 100% halal, sourced from certified suppliers and prepared fresh daily. No alcohol is served on the premises.

Is Kabab Erbil family-friendly?

Yes. Both branches offer indoor and outdoor seating, welcome all ages, and can seat large family groups — call ahead for the best table configuration.

What is Masgouf?

Masgouf is the national dish of Iraq — a whole river fish split open, seasoned with tamarind and turmeric, and slow-grilled upright over wood coals for 2–3 hours. It is our most-ordered dish since 2003.

What is Quzi?

Quzi is whole lamb slow-cooked for 8–10 hours and served over a mountain of fragrant rice with fried almonds, raisins and pine nuts — the centrepiece of Iraqi hospitality and our most-requested catering dish.

Do you deliver and offer takeaway?

Yes — order online for delivery or takeaway from both the Deira and Sharjah branches across the UAE. Most-ordered: Masgouf, Quzi, Erbil kebab and mixed grill.

Do you offer Iraqi catering in Dubai?

Yes. We have provided authentic Iraqi catering since 2003 for weddings, corporate events, home parties and private feasts (عزائم) — including whole-lamb Quzi and a live Masgouf grill station. From 10 guests to 500+.

Can I reserve a table?

Yes — book online through our reservation page or call your preferred branch directly. Group bookings of 10 or more are welcome with advance notice.

Do you serve Iraqi breakfast?

Yes — the full Iraqi morning table including Kahi w Qeymar, Makhlama and Tashreeb Bajila, served during morning hours. Check branch hours for availability.

Are there vegetarian options?

Yes — cold dolma (vine leaves in oil), hummus, baba ghanouj, mohamara, tabbouleh, fattoush, falafel and grilled halloumi are all meat-free.
