Kabab Erbil's two branches, Al Muraqqabat in Deira and Al Taawun in Sharjah, are open every day from 09:00 to 03:00, so Iraqi food is on the table well after midnight. Late at night, order what is quick from the charcoal grill, kebab, tikka and kubba, or a hot bowl of tashreeb. Masgouf still takes about an hour, so call ahead.
Both our branches close at 03:00, every day of the week, including weekends. In Deira we are on Al Muraqqabat Street near Union Metro; in Sharjah on Al Taawun Street in Al Khalidiya.
| Dish | Why late | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Kabab Erbil | Minutes over charcoal | AED 88 |
| Chicken tikka | Quick and mild | AED 81 |
| Mixed grill for two (8 skewers) | One platter to share | AED 224 |
| Mixed kubba (6 pieces) | Fried to order | AED 67 |
| Lamb tashreeb | Hot broth and bread | AED 88 |
| Iraqi tea | To finish | AED 8 |
The grill items are explained in Iraqi charcoal grilling, and the soups in our tashreeb guide.
Yes, but call first: it is grilled to order beside wood coals and takes about an hour. A half fish (2.5kg, AED 220) serves two to four.
In Baghdad and Erbil, grills and kebab houses stay busy late, and charcoal-grilled liver, heart and kebab are classic after-dark food. Dubai's evenings out, from Global Village (open until midnight or 1am, per Khaleej Times) to a late shift, end at the same kind of table.
Yes, every day, 09:00–03:00, at both branches.
You can order online any time we are open; ERBIL20OFF takes 20% off your total.
